Perform product/employee/team lead audits periodically to determine quality/safety standards are being upheld.
Evaluate production stages and test the weight, appearance, and measurements of completed product according to quality standards.
Prepare report for each machine down time and investigate cause and present to Plant Manager at end of shift or when deemed appropriately.
Identify operational risks/safety concerns throughout the entire manufacturing process.
Report if past recommendations are implemented and functioning appropriately.
Effective, tactful, and timely communication skills with the ability to be precise in both oral and written form.
Understanding of manufacturing, maintenance, and shipping/receiving processes to make recommendations to management on product/process improvement.
Objectively report processes, standards, and leadership not performing by company standards.
Qualifications:
Ability to gain knowledge of all Cascades products and processes.
Ability to read, write, and create reports indicative of shift performance.
Ability to gain knowledge and understanding of causes resulting in plant down time.
Ability to work on your own initiative, independently, without influence outside of the Plant Manager's direction.
